Hello to all. My name is Janneane. I first learned about MJF when I ordered her book from my book club as couple of years ago. I took it along to read while waiting with my hubby to have kidney stone surgery. I read bits and pieces to him, and as we enjoyed it the lady on the other side of the curtain (also waiting with her hubby) had to come and see what we were reading and I made a new friend because of the book.
We live on ten acres with a pond and lots of trees about four miles from Fort Scott. Our family is made up of hubby, three boys ages 15,12, and 10 and 5 cats. We are developing things slowly and hope to some day be more self supporting. For now I am thrilled to report that I will soon be the proud owner of a clothes line the official mark of a true country girl.Right? If not don't tell me cause it would burst my bubble. I love this site and am excited to be a part.
I like to quilt, counted cross stitch, embroidery, read, knit, decorate and garden. I have way to many hobbies. I have a seasonal job at a local nursery. So about six months out of the year I get to dig in the dirt and get paid for it.
Looking forward to getting to know you better.
Janneane

Welcome Janneane! I'm new to the group, too. We have similar interests. I also have a clothesline that I love to use.
I have a 10 yr. old son and a 15 yr. old daughter.

Howdy Janneane from South Georgia. I have 3 sons too! 20, 22, 25. AND we have a lot of the same interests. I'm also new here. I want a clothesline, just can't figure out where to put it yet. Welcome, in the short time I've been here (about 4 days) I love it and the people are wonderful with like-minded interests. Like one big big happy family.

Thank God I live in the country!

Welcome Janneane,
It is so nice to meet you! Three boys, wow! I have three girls, 16, 20, and 22, about the same age difference as your boys! I'll look for your name around the farm. Hope you are having a great weekend.

Hello Janneane, yep, that clothesline is just the ticket around here, I am envious... I can't have one where I live because of the "rules" but they haven't banned drying racks yet so I am safe for the time being..lol. Welcome and I enjoyed your post, come often and share your life with us...looking forward to knowing you...Debbie

Janneane,

Welcome from Florida! I used to live on 10 acres with 2 ponds and a clothes line and chickens and horses and dogs and rabbits, and a garden; but now I live on 1/4 acre and have a dryer. lol I have a goal to get that back again one day!
