Hello everyone! I'm a new farmgirl here and I am thrilled to a part of the MaryJane forums. I have her magazines and one of her books. I enjoy reading them over and over again. I would love any help and tips for being part of the group. I do not live on a farm (yet) but would love to. I have many interests and can't wait to share them all with you. Blessings, Ruth

Posted - Sep 09 2008 : 06:19:25 AM A warm Southern welcome from one of the Louisiana farmgirls. And never fear -- the greatest thing about this forum is you don't have to have a farm to join us -- just a farm girl heart. And I think you'll fit right in! And Claudia -- it's easy. Just go to any forum that suits your fancy, pick a topic, read the posts and jump right in with your thoughts, advice or hints on the matter. Or, if you have a question of your own, start a new topic, and the rest of us will help anyway we can! Glad to have both of you!

Posted - Sep 06 2008 : 05:12:51 AM Ruth, Welcome from a fellow newbie. This is a lovely place; during the day I find myself wondering, "What's going on at the farm?" and so look forward to getting back here and checking in!

Posted - Sep 05 2008 : 11:05:05 PM Hi Ruth, Welcome to the forum. Yes, it is a lot of fun. You start with reading topics and if you have a comment, you go to the bottom of the page and write your comment, then hit submit and you have made your very first post on a topic. Kindness is the greatest gift here and remembering it is a public forum. So go read and comment when you feel comfortable. Carol Sue

Marcelina~I will be visiting a friend in Little Compton next week and won't be far from where you are.
Claudia~We are still waiting for fall here. It has been cool but the last couple of days have been hot and humid. Not comfortable at all. We will be getting remnants of Tropical Storm Hannah, tonight and tomorrow. I will let you now when I learn anything new that may be helpful to you.
Blessings, Ruth
