I just found out about MaryJane's Farm and am in heaven. I grew up in farm country in Eastern WA state and love hearing about all the goings on in my old country. I consider myself a city girl with country roots. I hope to "retire" someday and grow lavendar and Romney sheep for wool back in the NW.

I work full time now in oncology in Phoenix, and sell baby items on etsy at dreamingincolors.etsy.com and try to keep my blog running at dreamingcolors.blogspot.com. My kids are grown and live in the Seattle area so I try to keep busy.

MaryJane is just what I needed to keep my dreams alive.

Hi Hannah and welcome to the sisterhood from another newbie. So glad to have you here!
goddessphx Posted - Sep 10 2008 : 4:33:52 PM
Thank you to all my sisters for the warm welcome. For the Washington sisters I grew up in Yakima and own land in Selah. I lived a lot of my adult life in Seattle then Denver and now Phoenix. I come "home" every 6-8 weeks to stave off the homesickness. It was lovely last week in Seattle.
Thanks again.

Hello Hannah, Like Brenda, I applaud what you do, It can't be easy to encourage and take care of one's with cancer, you must be realistic and yet have compassion, this will be a good place for you to come and get refreshed and encouraged yourself. I will look forward to getting to know you...Debbie
