Hi everyone! I hope all you ladies are having a wonderful last day of July (I can't believe how fast the summer is going!) I haven't posted in quite some time so I thought I'd re-introduce myself. My name's Laura, I'm 22 years old, and I live in Kankakee, IL. I just got hitched a month ago! That's the main reason I've been away from here so long. With working longer hours this summer and wedding planning, there wasn't much time for anything else! I've missed all of you and I'll be sure to visit more often! I work for a local park district as a custodian/gardener/anything-else-they-need-me-to-be. I'm going back to school this fall to study biology at the local community college. I then hope to transfer to a four-year school to get a degree in natural resources, or maybe agriculture. I'm just not sure yet! I love gardening, reading, writing, hiking, biking, camping, birdwatching, cooking, baking, sewing, needle work, and any kind of crafting. I'm also an avid animal lover. I love all animals, but have and extra-soft spot for cats! Well, I should probably hit the hay! Have to be up at 5:15 (well, after I hit the snooze it's more like 5:25 - 5:30!) for work tomorrow! Take care!

Laura, welcome back! And congratulations on getting married! I'm sure it was beautiful. Hopefully you're getting settled into a new routine - just in time for school to start and through you into another one!

God bless -

Hi Laura!!! It's great to meet more people our age that care about these farmgirl things I'm 20 and it's hard for me around my area to find people that enjoy the simpler (but fun) things in life. It's great to meet you!

Glad to see that you made it back. The day is filled with only so many hours!!! Once I sit down to the computer--look out, I'm here for hours. The time flies by.
Good luck with all your undertakings.
