[teal]Hello I am from California and msjosie introduced me last week. She is one of my best girlfriends and our sons go to school together. I was raised in the country in England warwickshire, so I am a Farmgirl at heart. My Dad enjoyed his greenhouse and grew alot of veg and fruit, it was serious business and great pride was taken. His father and my mothers father all had a vegetable garden. I hope to restore my love for the country with my farmgirl friends out here. I love the 1940's so I hope to give my self that style and self respect everyday that my grandparents talked about and share with my four kids. I look forward to talking with anyone that wants to chat, swap things...anything I am so happy I have found my passed again..take care!

.....always a farmgirl at heart!

Hi Angela,

Welcome! You are going to love it here. I have been wanting to go to England almost my whole life. Everytime I ever see a picture of any place in England I feel as if my heart just wants to go home. I especially love London, Cornwall, Northumberland and The Cotswolds. The 40's and 50's are my favorite times as well. I love old time radio (especially Jack Benny) and I love the clothing and the old fashioned values that went along with that time.
Anyways,
Welcome and glad to see that you have joined all of the wonderful ladies here,
Take care,
Marcy
