Ladies,
What a thrill to have you all as friends. One good lady said"I hope your home is always smaller than the friends that gather in it". Well the hen house is small and cozy and I just have love to share my love of the land with you. Your welcome when your near to drop in and visit. We just work side by side and laugh as the chores get done. Smiles to ya, Barngirl in Utah

God bless -

Jenny,
Thank you for the invite. We have been there many times. Wanted to camp there a couple years ago. My cherries froze in blossom and so we had none. I have lots of apricots and the 7 peach trees will produce. The pears are full and the apples look fabulous. Thanx for asking and thank you for the welcome. Barngirl#217

Lucky you to get apricots this year!! We had such late freeze down here in Manti that all the fruit I will be getting on our own trees are plums and the apples from one tiny tree.
I havn't fermented...but have pickled cabbage before..years ago. There is an article somewhere that I just read about those things..I will look for it.
We arn't far apart....less than 3 hours..if you are down this way you will have to come by!!!
Welcome!!!

Thanx Girls for the welcome. I need to gather my laundry from the great winds tonight and go to bed. Early picken of apricots off the ground from all the wind today. I also need to do something about the cabbage tomarrow. Any suggestions. I have a question in for advice on fermenting vs pickling. Hugs, Barngirl #217

AngiKay,
I am new at this, but thank you for the welcome. How is the Dolly treating you. It is very windy here right now. I am actually taking advantage by line drying this evening.
I love the verse, also in Joshua. Thank you, tonight was a reunion that I needed to be strong and courageous just to go :)
