My name is Vicki. I live in Shelton and have 5 1/2 acres. Currently have two horses one sheep one angora goat, and lots of chickens. It nice to see thier is other people that still like to farm and be able to talk with. Usually I run into people that just don't understand things like chickens, eggs, gardening. Some would never eat an egg from a chicken nest but they will buy it from the store. Hilarious. Anyone near me? Thank you vicki |

HI vicki.. Welcome, welcome, welcome!!! I have friends in Shelton too.. what a great place. I am in Prosser WA. Which is about middle/southern end of the state on the Columbia River - between Yakima and Richland WA.. I always love to see Washington Gals jump in... When you join the sisterhood you must sign up to be a Heart of Washington 2 farmgirl (HOW2 farmgirl)... we are trying to tip the scales in our favour over texas Hotties!!! :), anyway.. welcome, welcome, welcome!!

Welcome Vicki from the other side of the state, Pasco. I think people think milk comes from bottles and eggs come from cartons. They never give it a second thought.

Hi Vicki! Gosh, people are so funny. Where on earth do they think eggs come from? They need a farm tour to get back in touch with life and how good food happens. Hope you enjoy the forum. :)
