Greetings all. I am new to chat rooms. I love MJ magazine and recently bought the subscription as it sells out fast around here.

I love to quilt, sew, stitch, garden, cook and am learning to weave.
I have 2 goats, Rufus and Becky, 2 dogs: Harley and Moo, 2 daughters, one of which attends school at U of I in Moscow, the other will be attending Aug 2009, Go Vandals! (hey someone in blue and orange country has to root for them, it gets all these blue/orange fans going....) I am amking that cute hen house in the last magazine, so until its built, which will be soon, I cant get my chickens. Oh I have only one old man......

Hi Kim! I used to live in Nampa (little place with a couple of horses), but that was ages ago and I hear it has grown grown grown! Good to hear there is still room for your critters and a great lifestyle. Glad to have you here. :)

We make a difference.

Welcome! I'm just up the map from ya in Caldwell!! I just recently joined as well. I know there are a few more of us from the Treasure Valley, there are several Sisterhood Chapters here! One of these days we'll have to get together!! (You'll just have to excuse my Go BroncoSticker! ) I start my second year next month, what can I say?!!

You can take the farmer's daughter off the farm but you can't take the farm out of the farmer's daughter!!

Howdy and welcome from Texas Kim! I'm so glad you found us-it sounds like you'll fit right in here with us. My two youngest are in college too (Texas A&M -whoop!) and my older two are settling into real life (that's been a trip!). I"m jealous of your goats-I wish I had a couple, but so far...it's not to be. I do have chickens tho and they are great fun.
I hope you enjoy the forum and I look forward to getting to know you better.
