I have 2 beautiful grandsweeties from my daughter and son in law, and my older son just married his beautiful bride in April.
My hobbies are knitting, gardening, and reading. My dream someday is to move to the country and become a true farmgirl

Posted - Jun 28 2008 : 10:36:44 AM Welcome Diana! I am coming through Missouri next week on my way to see my family in Iowa. We love MS...it's a gorgeous state and I always enjoy my drive through it especially the Mark Twain forest. I love all your pets and your family sounds lovely. We're so happy you're here and you WILL love it. I was all alone down here in AR and since I found MJ and the "sisterhood" I haven't been alone at all...they're just the greatest bunch of gals you could ever want to meet! Enjoy!

Thanks for the warm welcome! Congrats on the new daughter in law also :) Degus are from Chile and look like larger and fatter gerbils. They're very interesting little critters, and are very vocal at times.

Posted - Jun 26 2008 : 7:13:58 PM Howdy from Texas Diana! I'm so glad you found us. I'm gonna sound stoopid, but what are degus? and congrats on a new daughter in law-I acquired one myself last Nov. I couldn't be more pleased. No grandbabies yet, but they have surprised me with a new granddog...a bouncing baby basset hound!
I think you're gonna be real happy here and fit right in. I can't wait to get to know you better :) ~kate
