Posted - Jun 14 2008 : 3:54:33 PM Hello Shelley, I live out in the boondocks and my livestock consists of eight cats. You found the right place. We are all going to enjoy getting to know you. I just looked at your blog, the pictures of aprons on the line are just beautiful, I wish I still had a clothesline. Nothing smells as good as fresh windblown clothes, Karin

Posted - Jun 09 2008 : 10:36:51 AM I visited your blog again a few minutes ago. I copies the "Famous Cream Corn" recipe and the recipe for the stain removal. Can't wait to try the corn. I have put sour cream in corn before, but never cream cheese.

Hi Shelly, I am nowhere near Texas. I have often wanted to visit. I have a dear friend who lives in Austin, so maybe some day. I'm sorry to hear of your drought conditions. Somehow it doesn't seem fair when there is lack of moisture in some places and flooding in others.
I visited your photo site. I am hooked on windmills and yours were beautiful.
Welcome to the site and I hope you come back often.

Thank you Betty!! I appreciate the comment on my photography. While my husband was very ill for 7 years before he passed away, I needed an outlet to shake off some of the stress. I found the answer when I got me a digital camera. I couldn't go far from home, so I started taking photos of windmills, because they are all over our area. I made it a challenge to get as many as I could. I tried to relate to windmills as being strong and stood up against all the elements and changes. It was a great artistic diversion.
Thanks so much again for the welcome and the nice comments! If you ever get to Texas, you can come to my home for a barbeque!
