A rough couple months for me! DFIL passed after a long illness - we had to take care of his estate, clean out, fix up his house & the usual - I then got unexpectedly laid off from work - but recovering nicely.

But I am recovering nicely, picking up my internet life again & wanted to shout out another hello to all!

I was/am a Purchasing Manager for a Nat'l HVACR firm. They had a big lay off in March - in financial times like these - people hold on to their boilrs & furnaces a lot longer & don't put in A/C either - so they laid off 50 people.

I don't know what I am looking for now - IF I am looking for anything now. I have been home & realized how much I have been missing - thank goodness we can live on DH salary (albiet a less lavish life - but that's ok too. So I maybe retiring early.

Thanks for asking.

Welcome back, Grace. Sorry to hear about your family sadness, and then losing your job...hope things turn around for you. What sort of work do you do, or perhaps I should ask, what sort of work are you looking for now?

I am very sorry to hear about your father in law. I will keep your family in my prayers. I will pray for a job for you as well, those are hard to come by right now. Welcome back!
