Hello from the Pacific Northwest.

I'm Sherrie, not feeling quite like a girl...turning 40 in September. But, always a farm girl at heart. I live in Washington, on just over five acres with my dh, ds, two dd's, a boxer names Max, three barn cats, two house cats, two angora rabbits (for spinning), nine chickens, nine ducks with two on the way. We've had our land since '99, so glad to be out of the city...though the city is coming out towards us.

I have a small fruit orchard, veggie garden, a few roses and various flowers, I tend to grow pansies the best. I put up preserves in the summer, spin when I have time, quilt once in a great moon and knit all year long. I work for the local school district, which gives me about two months a year off of work to be a farmgirl.

Looking forwrad to chatting and getting to know you all.

Off to finish staining the deck.....
