Hi! I am new to the farmgirl connection and fairly new to this part of the country. We moved from Las Vegas to Richland, WA - not a really small town but it seems like it compared to Las Vegas! We have 2 sons in high school and a daughter in middle school. Am working on putting in a garden and am enjoying being in the middle of farm country.
Still lots of stuff in boxes and things we can't find.
Sue

It turned hot here over the weekend so we had to unpack boxes of summer clothes - of course a lot of them are outgrown, so I need to make a trip to the thrift store to drop some bags off. I lived in Maine for a year before I was married, and loved it. I went to college in VT and have fantasies of moving back to that part of the country.

Another Welcome Susan, sounds like you have an exciting houseful of people. I moved to my house six years ago, with 2 teenagers at the time, and I'm still not unpacked.

Welcome Susan, I'm happy to meet you here! Wow, there are sure a lot of new people from Washington state here. That's one area I'd love to visit one day, I've heard it's beautiful up there.

Hi, Susan. Hope you have unpacked all those boxes by now and have found all your stuff. I have only moved twice--the first time when we got married and moved into a 2 bedroom trailer. The second time was into a big old 2 story farm house on the farm we bought from my husbands grandmother. We moved our stuff in the back seat and trunk of a 1968 Mustang and a pick-up truck. I'd sure hate to move now--would take a little more space than that.
Hope you enjoy your time with all these wonderful farm girlz.
I live in central Kentucky, and have never been to Washington. Would certainly like to some time.
