Hello everyone. I am a brand new blogger. I have been a farm girl since birth. I lived in the city for seven years to finish college but my heart ached for the farm. I am married with 3 children. We homeschool our children.

I enjoy anything domestic, especially sewing, fishing, photography, reading and horseback riding.

I have a blog so please visit to learn more about my sewing projects. The address is www.ribbonsnrags.blogspot.com Hope to get to know you all.

Thank you MaryJane Lee!! I have visited your blog and I LOOOOOOOVE the mosaic. M is also my initial and that is precious. I really like the egg carton sewing kit. I taught a beginner's sewing class a while back and they were as excited about their sewing kits as they were with learning to sew. They would have loved the cartons. I will keep this in mind for the next class.

Thanks again for visiting my blog. Drop in from time to time to see what is new. I have new photos and more things to put on and hopefully will do that in the next few days.

Hi! I'm new to the site and wanted to say this is a great place. I'm in Calloway County, Ky, east of Murray. I also have been a farmgirl all my life. If I don't get my fingers and toes in the dirt I get depressed. I can't garden like I used to, but still grow as much as I can in large pots and small patches here and there. I quilt, make rag rugs, rag dolls, and seem to take in every stray in the area, feathered, fur or human. My door is aways open, while drives my family nuts. I live by myself now, so I take care of all who find their way here. Before my heath got bad, I was a Socialworker handling child abuse cases and doing family counceling. Is there anyone near me that I could visit with? If not, I will visit this way.

Thanks Alee--I was wondering that same thing. I knew there must be some way to keep from typing it each and every time.

Welcome to the forum:

To get you blog address to show up, just type it in www.blogaddresshere.com

or if you want it to show up with each and every post, you need to put it into you "Signature"

To do this:

Go to the very top of the screen. You will see some small underlined links that say:
Home Profile Register Active Topics Members Search FAQ

Click on "Profile"

It will bring up another page with a box. The box will have your member name in it and underneath you type in your password.

Then the page will open up that has all of your information that you put on how you wanted it when you signed up. Look for the box that says "Tag Line" next to a big white square.

In that text box type your blog URL.

Under that box there is a drop down menu that says "Tag line checked by default yes/no" click yes if you want it to be an automatic addition to each post.

Please email me if you have any difficulties as I would be very happy to help!
