New to posting, but I've been sneaking round and reading for a few months now.
I'm in South Carolina (where it's hot and muggy already).
We have a very small "farm" where we grow as much food as we can in two gardens. Chickens enough to keep us supplied in eggs.
I'm a stay at home wife..kids are grown and gone, and I'm due to be a grandmother for the first time TWICE this year, one from each! EGADS!! My daughter is due in June, and my son and DIL are due in Nov. (both firsts!)
I love to sew, craft, paint, plant and make people laugh.

This old place used to have much more, (pigs, goats, ducks, geese, chickens, rabbits, etc) but I downsized due to life's changes. For now, we'll stick with the Gardens and the chickens. It's enough of a Farm for me.
Of course, the name of our little place is "Sagewood Farm"..and they call me Sage.

So, ya reckon this is enough to 'play in Farmgirl forums?'

Hey Sage! This is a great place to be.....love this forum and everyone is so helpful. We live on a small farm with chickens also. We do have 1 cow and 3 horses. I have one grandchild who is 19 months old and he is my little man!!! You will really enjoy those babies!!! I live below you in GA. Hope to get to know you better.

(hehehe) The daughter lives about 45 minutes from me, she's having a boy. The son and DIL live many hours away, in upstate NY. They don't know what she's having yet, but will soon. Maybe I'll get one of each this year! LOL..should be fun!
I've already made a quilt for the 'boy' coming..and have had the shower for the daughter, the DIL and son's shower will be in July, when they visit. I guess I better get busy with another baby quilt huh??

Welcome Sage, nice to meet you here! Congrats on the grandbabies! I love that one of the things you listed that you do was make people laugh, that's a precious gift I think. I'm looking forward to getting to know you.
