Am very excited that I found this forum! I live on a small farm and love every minute of it. I am the mother of grown children and have one grandson who is 1 1/2 and has stolen my heart! We currently have horses, one calf, chickens, honeybees and dogs. We have had goats til some wild dogs came in. I am currently starting to plan my herb garden as I will start trying my hand later at homemade soap. My daughter and I have made some herbal healing salve. Love anything country, rustic and native. Hope to meet lots of friends here.

Hi, Susie, from another Southern farmgirl. I feel your pain about the wild dogs. We lost a lot of our chickens due to a pack of them! Glad you're here with us!

Hi Susie. I am from Georgia too! You will love the farmgirls here. The herbal healing salve sounds interesting.
We have had trouble with wild dogs killing our goats here also. It is so upsetting. That is one reason why it is so important that people have their dogs spade and neutered.
Welcome!

You can never have enough friends.
