Posted - Mar 10 2008 : 11:56:14 AM Hey Ya'll, just joined today, but I have a lil' Sister who has been on for a'whil, Pamela at Beehind Thyme. I've lived in Mississippi for almost 8 years and am originally from KY. I have a wonderful, loving husband and together we have 5 chillin' our youngist is attending UK. I miss KY but I've grown to love this way of life in Ms. No one gets in a hurry here, and everyone greets you with a "how ya'll doin". When we first moved here it felt like we'd went back in time 20 years, there's just something about this place that I love. You can garden 12 months out of the year and there is always something in bloom. I collect embroidered pillowcases, vintage clothing, old laundry items, old costume jewelrey, and old garden tools. I love doing everything. My favorite place to shop is the salvation army and estate sales. We don't really have any junk store here, but we have alot of antique stores. My favorite thing to do is find a treasure along the road and make something out of it. Can't wait to get to know'in someofya. RoseMarie

Posted - Mar 18 2008 : 10:59:34 PM Welcome -- I'm new also and love your collection items too, I'm a collect-a-holic, OK - I said it! Truthfully, I do need to thin out my collections, and it is hard to think about with antique shops, junk stores, and lets not forget yard sales. |

Posted - Mar 12 2008 : 08:23:15 AM How sweet ya'll are. I already fell like one of you'ins. It is going to be 74 here today. YEA! I think I'm goinna' have to get outside and practice being a farmgirl. Let's see, I need shovel, dirt and flowers. That's a perfect day for me, I love to play in the dirt. When I was a child I use to make mud pies and leave them in the sun to bake. Ummm Ummm. I think that is where it all got started. And of course here in the South all it takes to make a lady happy is her garden, fine china and starched linens. Praise the Lord I have them all. Ya'll have a sweet day. RoseMarie
