Posted - Mar 07 2008 : 07:03:32 AM Hello fellow farm girls! I am new on the farm (lol-get it? Instead of block! yeah I know corny joke!) It seems that I introduced myself the other day on the wrong forum. Forgive me-I'm still new at this! Anyhoo-My mother in law (Junebug) has been a farmgirl on here for a year or so. Currently I don't live on a farm but I sure am a farmgirl at heart! We are looking to buy a house with a couple of acres a few miles out of town. We have our eye on one and hope to make an offer on it soon. My username fits me b/c I love to scrapbook, sew, make crafts, etc. I also want to learn how to make homemade stuff like soap, lotion, etc. I can cook. I love to bake. Rachael Ray is my favorite chef. I get her magazines and email newsletter. I also love Paula Deen! My mom has ate at her restaruant in Savannah-I'm sooo jealous! A little bit about me-I'm 25, My husband and I have been married 5 years-6 in August. We have a 2 1/2 year old daughter. My husband pastors a little country church of about 50+ congregation. We love it there! I work with childrens church and wed nite kids group 6th and under. I love to sing-I'm in the praise team at church. I'm involved in the Women Of Praise (WOP) group at church. I'm very family oriented. I love to blog and I have a lot of blogs. Visit my blog Family Fixins and the links to the other blogs are on there. I love to read books-mostly Christian romance and pioneer and Amish books. I love to write and I hope to write a book someday. I'm just a Plain Jane girl. God and Jesus are first in my life. Then my husband and daughter. Then family, church and friends. I'm happiest when with those I love and care about the most. I know this is long, but I just wanted to come by and introduce myself. I hope to meet lots of new, remarkable women on here. So, visit me anytime and keep in touch! God Bless!

I have been to Paula's place too (like your mom)....waiting in the long line is sooo worth the wait....hopefully one day you can make the trek there. You have come to the right place to learn how to do all that you mentioned (the soap/lotion). Glad to meet another scrapbooker here on the Farm.
