Hi, My name is June i live in Aiken South Carolina. Im married to my high school sweetheart for 35 years.. We have two grown kids with 5 grandkids.. They are my so precious to me... I love to take things people are going to throw away and make something out of it and i also do some painting, love to garden . And watch the Lords beautiful creations he has given us... I first learned about MaryJane in Country Living magazine several years ago.. My DIL is from Spokane so when she ask me to go with her to Washington last year i was ready to go! I had one of MaryJanes books and just felt i had to go to Moscow to see her farm since i was so close. Oh the drive was just beautiful and then we got there "Iris Lane" Well you can imagine how excited i was!!We drove on down to MaryJanes, and they told me that they didnt give tours any more . Then this guy told me hey its ok, you came along way so just make yourself at home,,,WoW!! We got to look around and i was in awe!! It was just like her book ! and i love antiques and the flowers were just beautiful The guy even pick us some strawberry... To be able to see MaryJanes farm was the best part of my trip to the West coast ... And i want to thank the Guy for letting us look around, even when we wasnt suppose too....(hope i dont get any one in trouble ) Oh im a country gal, with just a little garden,,,,,, but love to read "MaryJanes" books

Hi June, I'm not exactly new to MJF, but I don't get to post much. I'm just one of those people that have a hard time figuring out what to say. But I really enjoy reading the post. I am sure that you will like it here. It is a really good place to be.

Thanks ladies for the warm welcome! Yes Alee you are so right, it is one the most beautiful and peaceful places i have ever seen... we walked up to the very top tent cabin and went to the field out back you could see for miles. The fields were rolling with green and golden wheat... Yes just awesome!!!
