Posted - Feb 24 2008 : 1:34:17 PM So glad that I found you gals! I've been in and out for a while, just looking around, but thought it was time to introduce myself here. I live in west central Florida on 5 rural acres. My sister lives behind me, and we are so happy here. Goats, chickens, dogs, a cat. . .and who knows what will be next. Had a cow and a pig -- not sure if we will do that again.
As for gardening. . . .I'm ready to give up that dream. It's so iffy down here. If it's too hot, everything dies. If we plant early and get a late frost, you lose it all. Haven't had much success except for string beans. LOTS of string beans!
Can't wait to get to know you all!!!
Cora
