Hello everyone! It's been a while since I've been here.I have been very busy with building my farm and exploring alternative career options that will keep me closer to it. I have missed this connection and the wonderful farmgirl chatter. I am in southern Chesapeake, Virginia and would love to find other farmgirls in my area. I'm glad to be back among the "girls" and look forward to chatting!

It is great to be back! I have been honing my photography skills trying to start a small side business that will keep me close to the farm. I have included my calligraphy services in the business as well. So far, things are working out pretty well. At least I can set my own pace and schedule.
We are putting up greenhouses this year that I really have high hopes for. I plan to grow herbs of every kind as well as vegetable plants and such.
I can't wait to meet you Nance! I hope it works out that you can come out to the farm. I think it would be really cool to have an east coast version of Mary Janes Farm right here in Virginia and everyone could come visit!!!
Take care and I love you all!!

Bonjour, all! Wendy, I sure hope I can get out to your farm for a visit this spring! Robin is my very first "in the flesh" farm gal pal so if you are as nice as she is it will be such fun to meet you!

Nope, we don't live on a farm but the nursing home right outside our neighborhood has livestock including a rooster with an attitude! France is full of small villages and is very agricultural economically. I will look forward with pleasure getting together! Hugs to all, Nance

Wendy,
Welcome back! You have to meet Nance, she is wonderful! I met her in December when my husband was in Norfolk for a business trip. We are supposed to be going back there in the next year. So maybe I'll get to meet you too. I'm a Virginia girl, but about 5 1/2 hours from you.
Hugs,
Robin

Bonjour, and holy mackerel, Wendy! I live in Norfolk, nearly half of the year only, now that I have married my French hubby. We live in southern France about 7 months out of the year and in my home the rest of the time. We are heading back to ole Virginny at the end of March for a couple of months, so maybe we can meet up! At any rate, welcome back here among all these great gals!! Hugs, Nance
