I signed up for the Sisterhood this week. I am a homeschool Mama to three young boys so I am hoping that working on my merit badges will be something "girly" that I can do on my own. (You know, in my spare time, when not teaching the boys, carting them from practices/Scouts and finding time to make the house presentable! )

I grew up on a farm in Northwest MO but I am now in Kansas City, trying to make my suburban lot into a place that all the neighborhood kids want to congregate in!

I am sure there's lots to learn here!

Welcome Jen! I hope you enjoy working on the merit badges with us! Do you have a farmgirl chapter? Or have you considered joining one of the virtual ones? (Kooky Cluckers, Bees Without Borders, Mudhens) Also, have you read MaryJane's Stitching Room book? She has a story in there about Boys who Crochet and Men who Tat! Good reading and maybe inspiration for your boys?
