| Mucking Boots |
Posted - Jan 08 2008 : 01:31:36 AM Guess who can't sleep!? I am from beautiful Idaho and need deep restoration. Yesterday I found this website and felt like I had come home. I am a true blue farmgirl, and yes, I wear mucking boots. Against the wall in the mudroom is a long row of them, from tiny to huge and I love it. To me, that row of dirty mucking boots is a symbol of how hard we all work.
I remarried this past year and so we have 11 together, nine are mine, two are his and three of the eleven are married. He has 4 grandchildren and my first is on the way this fall. I am excited for this little blessing. In fact, I just started a yo-yo quilt
Can't wait to get to know you all and learn from you. Sleep tight! |

Posted - Jan 08 2008 : 06:28:07 AM Welcome, Bernadine! Of the eleven children, assuming three married ones are out of the house, how many are left at home? I love the visual of the row of mucking boots lined up against the wall; THAT would be a picture worthy of posting!
