Hello my name is Kimberly aka Moonbeam I live in northwest montana with my wonderful husband of 23 years and two beautiful daughters. I was thrilled to find this forum for farmgirls. We love farming and the lifestyle it provides..We are "small" farmers and love it...

Happy Holidays to all...and many blessings to you and yours in the coming new year..

Hi Kimberely,
Thanks for the email. I tried to email you back, but my email doesn't like yours, unfortunately. So I am writing it here.

I was just wondering what is your nearest town. Moyie Springs is seven miles to the Montana border. We drove to Libby the other day. It is really strange, but as soon as we crossed over the border, everything seemed bigger, more grand. What are you raising up on your farm? We are hoping to rent or sell our old house, soon and get a few acres. It is inspiring to know that Mary Jane started out with just five acres. Lots of people around here farm trees, it is profitable, I hear. I have wanted a pygmie goat forever.
Bend is really beautiful! Once I visited the Deschutes Brewery :), I always have been enchanted by Sisters, it reminds me of the wild west. I has the best pizza bread in my life there from a little bakery.
Are you involved in any farmgirl groups? I have not heard back from the one in my area.

Thanks for writing,
Trish

Welcome aboard Kimberly! I hope that you enjoy your stay here. Montana has some beautiful country side. It's been a while since I've been up that way, but always enjoyed the outdoors up there.

Take care and have a wonderful Christmas!

Hi Kimberly!

I guess I could look at a map, but how close are you to Billings? I am going to very possibly be moving there this summer/fall!
