Hi Ashleigh! Sounds heavenly! Lots of work, but as long as you're doing what you love it shouldn't matter! :)

P.S. I love Great Pyrenees dogs, they are beautiful :)

Ashleigh, You are a very busy lady! Taking care of a two year old child and all your livestock (not to mention the NEED to read) doesn't leave a lot of time for sewing, crocheting and quilting--but I don't doubt you'll do it! You have a good husband to recognise how important the farm is to you.

Hi,
Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome. I love all of your web pages! They are all beautiful. I guess I should tell you a little about me. A few months ago, I moved to my dream home. I have always lived in the country and grew up on a large farm. But, this is THE farm I have always longed for. So, I convinced my husband to move and now I am living in my dream. It's a 5 acre farm with a 100 year old victorian farrm house, old barns, an orchard, and plenty of pasture for my critters. My 2 year old son Jojo and I spend as much time as we can outside cleaning and clearing, trying to get this place the way I want. My husband is a big help too, but he started his own Electrical Contracting company not long ago and that keeps him busy. Besides, he is a city boy and while he loves the county, he doesn't have the same need for it I do. We live happily with 4 cats ( Teensey, Frenchie, BJ and Puss'n'Boots), 2 mini goats (Abigail and Rosie), 2 plows a.k.a. pigs (pearl and petunia), a horse named scarlett, and the goat's gardian-a great Pyrenees (Anna), and six lovely egg laying ladies.
I dream of a bigger goat herd and fresh goat milk, and I am trying hard to learn to sew, crochet, and quilt. It's going very slow.
Like many of you, I love to read. (I use to be a librarian.) I look forward to getting to know you all.
God Bless,
Ashleigh
