Howdy! I'm new to the group. I am excited to be a part of this - I grew up on a small family farm in Utah and still live in the same area (although now I am literally surrounded by other houses). I raise chickens, herbs, kids, motorcycles, and one husband. Lorie

Thanks for making me feel so welcome! This is actually the first time I have had a desire to be part of a group like this. My cat is not happy, however. he tries to sit on the keyboard every time I try to type.

Welcome, Lorie!!
I still live in the area I grew up in, too. Isn't it amazing how fast neighborhoods can go up around you. My four acres of heaven is getting encroached(sp?) upon and there's rumor of buyouts.

You will have a blast here!

Blessings
