Hi Everyone,

I've been a forum reader for about a year and finally made the time to set up a profile. My farmgirl goots are deep, but so are my citygirl roots. Makes for an interesting time.

My little 8.25 acre farm is in beautiful Amity, Oregon. The rolling landscape gently runs up in some of the most fertile wine country in the Pacific Northwest. I produce art (photos, sculpture, music and food) out here as well as regular farm stuff. Its a lot of work, but I can't imagine doing anything else.

On the farm grows organic veggies, 23 fat hennys, four nubian goats (hopefully more this spring!) and 7 spoiled kittie cats. Oh, and me

If you're in the neighborhood drop me a line,
Sarah D

Hi Sarah, nice to meet you. Apparently, there are several city girls that have "made the switch" to country life :)

Oh, Sarah! I love your place! I had to smile at some of the before pictures. When we bought our house, every room in it was panelled with the darkest paneling that existed! I, too, painted it, and brightened up my home, and love every minutes of it. Your other pictures brought tears to my eyes -- my dad was an amateur photographer, and although totally different from yours, some of them reminded me so much of him! A big Southern Welcome to the group, and thanks for bringing my dad back for just a few minutes!
