Hi Everyone,
I'm from North Carolina. Just read MaryJane's idea book ( luv it)!!

I little about myself: I'm married to a school teacher for 9 years. No kids yet. My family owns Produce Markets (since I was 5). I love anything country. I live in my Husbands Great GrandParents Farm House.
I love to Cook & Teach, I think thats why I enjoy my job. For 7 years I have been a Pampered Chef consultant.

Can't wait to learn from everyone,
Karen

Hi Karen! Welcome to the list! I live right above you - I'm in Virginia, pretty close to the border with NC. We both have a pretty beautiful state to live in. What part of NC do you live in? I have an internet buddy who lives in Kinston. I live in Blacksburg - home of Virginia Tech. I stumbled on to MJ's book, and have been hooked since. I'm going to check into those recipes you suggested! I love to cook! Have you tried some of the bakeovers yet? They are GREAT! I bought the MJF small bakeover skillet - it is TOP NOTCH! And I bought her garlic/pesto fry bread and used it as a bakeover to some 3 cheese tortellini with chopped tomatoes and onions and pesto sauce - mmmmmmmmm............very very good!

Karen - welcome! I've been to NC many times - mostly to the Outer Banks, but also to many other parts. It's a beautiful place.

hello and welcome from one karen to another!

i don't hear our name much anymore but it's good to meet you. i live in missouri (we are the "show me" state, hence my name). i've been to your lovely state once, to ashville to a women's conference and would like to come back some day.

this is a great site-people have been really nice and kind-i'm kind of new myself but this chatting thing is kind of addicting! i love reading all the stories and some of these posts will make you laugh right out loud.
