I'm new to the forum and to MaryJanes Farm. I stumbled across MaryJanes Farmgirl book in the bookstore 3 days ago and I have to say that I absolutely love everything in her book! It felt like coming home although I didn't grow up on a farm nor in the country and currently I live in Burnsville, MN. I'm looking forward to 'chatting' with all of you!

I am a wife, a mother to my two wonderful boys and I work part-time as a nurse. I love everything homemade, handmade, crafty that is a mix of country woman, farmgirl and a smidge of martha stewart. Curently I'm back to knitting because I found an adorable little girl dress that I just had to make. I would like to spend more time in the kitchen and more time in the yard but my time is so stretched as it is that I'm afraid I will break :) I will have to settle for doing little bits at time when I can.

Welcome to our group. I think you will find us a friendly bunch and learn a lot while 'chatting' with us. Being a farmgirl is a state of mind and heart whether we are in a city or rural. Jump right in and spend some time with us.
