Hey Farmgirls!
We just moved from rural nrothern Virginia to the big city of Albuquerque, New Mexico, where my husband was born and raised. As much as I am sad to loose our wide open spaces, I am very excited about the more relaxed rules regarding animals and where I can have them. We only actually owned just under an acre of land in VA and you needed two to have goats ro chickens, here you only need a quarter acre. So we will be enjoying some laying hens quite soon! I would love some goats, but my husband thinks they are creepy (how silly) I grew up with them and loved playing and working with them as a young girl. I am the mother of three, and a homeschooling parent. My boys are 8 and 6 and my little girl is just under 3. Im happy to be here and looking forward to all the fun!

Welcome Kari! you sound great! I have relatives in Albuquerque..a great aunt and cousins and always wanted to go there someday. Sounds pretty.
Maybe your husband will soften up about the goats over time. What sort of hens will you get? I love chickens and can't imagine life without them..you will have so much fun..I love to just sit and watch them sometimes!
