Posted - Jul 26 2005 : 11:03:09 AM Hello Fellow Farm Girls! My name is Tia, & I hail from Central PA. I was raised on a working farm wich unfortionatly retired because Dad decided Trucking made more money Well now I am out on my own & have my first House. This spring My Fiance' & I put in our garden, but due to the rain we have been getting it looks a little scraggly. My Herb pots & flower beds seem to be doing fine though. We also started an orchard. Deer got part of 2 trees, but we finally got them fenced in & they are coming back pretty well. Next year I hope to convince Brad (my Fiance') that we need chickens Slowly, I hope to be totally organic with in the next 3 years, but for now its a composting I go! |
