I own a small ranch near the Arizona New Mexico border. Its 40 acres of raw land and I have lots of plans for it. This will be my vacation getaway as I develop it and then I will retire on it. I am open to hear suggestions and advice for wells, septic, solar power, etc.

Thank you!

Hi Anne,

My mother and step father live in Arizona, south of Ft. Huachuca and about 3 miles north of the Mexican border. They live on a small plot of land, but make all of their own electricity. If you'd like I will find out what kind of set up they have. I know that it was a huge investment and that they have a propane generator for back up on cloudy days. They rely on a community well water company that my mom runs, she might also have information on that.
