Posted - Jul 15 2005 : 5:34:40 PM I think I've died and gone to heaven!!!! I can't believe that I have found a forum that is just for us ole farm gals!!!! I'm Sher {Age 54} and I live on a small farm in Kansas. Mom to eight (Ranging in age from 36 to 6...Ok, I confess, the last two are adopted! HA) with one better half. We are a non-working farm as far crops go but boy do we work!!! Right now we are getting ready to open a little vintage and unique junk shop in an old cattle shed out back of our farm house. I can't wait to read all about you other "farm gals" and exchange ideas with you. Would love to write some of you personally if you share my interest. Have a great day!

Posted - Jul 15 2005 : 6:32:32 PM Thanks for the warm welcome! Jenny we live in LeRoy, Ks. which is about an hour South of Topeka so we're not to terribly far apart. Our junk shop is just in the "getting ready stages" but have we ever been buying! HA I would love to chat with anyone else here who has ever done something like this to share ideas. We don't plan to make a million off this but rather it's to meet other people who share our love of old and loved things! Anyone else like that on this board?
