Posted - Jul 15 2005 : 05:25:29 AM Hello to you all! I'm in Central Texas, right halfway between Dallas and Austin. I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one how will be happy when the heat eases up a little (when will it be??? Christmas???) The other day, on TV, the moderator said something very Texan: "....this is specifically true in the Sommer months, from May to December...." HAHAHA! Anyway, I am surprised to find so many Texans here. They seem to be less represented on the other sites. Maybe because there isn't really THAT much "farming" in Texas, with the heat, rocks and dust taking up a large part of the state.

  Hey Farm Girls!
Welcome Zoe and Ariel from another Texas Farm Girl. You both have such lovely names---they are so poetic.
I live in a rural area nw of Fort Worth but just love San Antonio. Have been there many times for both business and pleasure.
Will look forward to hearing more from you.
I know one thing---I am definitely ready for summer to be over!
HOT HOT HOT
