Hi, I'm Jamie from Oklahoma. Grew up mostly in the country and got moved to town when I got married. Prayed for years for our own place. Finally got to buy a double wide back in '96 and parked it on an acre or so of my dads property for 10 years while praying daily for our own piece of land. Finally, this last summer, we were blessed to be able to buy 3 acres!! We got our mobile home moved her last October and it's been lots of work (unimproved hay field), but it's ours!!

I prayed for land with hay fields and cows nearby, and for sand plum thickets, and down a back road, and guess what? My prayers were all answered!!

My neighbor has given me her Pygmy Goats (which have multiplied since October LOL), and her chickens (which were killed by wild animals over the winter). We've had so much to do that we're just now getting started on our goat pen. We got the corner posts in yesterday, and now hopefully soon we can start on the fencing.

Oh, I guess I should say I'm married and have a 21 yr old daughter, and a son in law and new 9 month old grandson. I also have a 7 yr old son.

Well, it's nice to be here, seems like a neat place!!

Jamie,
Welcome. So cool that you have what you have really wanted. Goats sound so much fun. We had some when we lived in the Portland Oregon area. Miss those buggers. They were so much fun and entertainment. Welcome again. Gotta go check your site. Later, Carol Sue

Life is short, enjoy every moment.
