Hello all,

I found my way here thanks to my midwife. She noticed my love for crocheting and mentioned MaryJane's Stitching room. I'm from Idaho and went to college in Lewiston which isn't far from the Palouse. It is a great place to live.

My home is on 5 acres, 1 semi-tamed the rest wild. Keeping up with the jungle is a chore, but the wild provides, blackberries, huckleberries (both blue and red), thimble-berries and salmon-berries. We also have fruit trees and a small vegetable garden and flower garden.

I am expecting my 2nd little one any day now, so I may be gone for a little while, but I hope to be back soon to dive in and meet other farmgirls at heart.

~Jennifer

I was born after my time.

Welcome Jennifer and congratulations on the new bambino. We just had our 11th grandchild 3 weeks ago and we're not done yet. They are such a blessing and grace our lives with such joy and happiness.

You'll find lots to do with all the forums - when you find the time, of course. It's been the greatest experience for me. All the Farmgirls are great and such wonder teaches.

Peace and love.

Welcome Jennifer,
you will love the friends you make & all the idea sharing that we do.
It's sort of like an internet quilting bee, where a bunch of gals sit around, chatting & sewing except our sewing is keyboarding...

Hi Jennifer!!! I'm new here as well. Looks like a nice place though. How long have you been a "hooker"???? I learned just over 8 years ago, at the same time as my mom.

Oh Jennifer welcome and congratulations on your expected little one! Babies are always so wonderful! I just had my first a little over 2 months ago! It will be great getting to know you through the forum. If you ever are coming through the Moscow area- let us know! There are several of us farmgirls in the area and we would love to get together! Farmgirl gatherings are always such fun!

Your land sounds wonderful! It's amazing how much food the Inland Northwest provides, isn't it? I have a favorite berrying place just down the river from Granite Point (inbetween Pullman and Lewiston).
