Posted - May 01 2007 : 06:42:16 AM Hi there, I am Michelle from Many, Louisiana. My friend Susan-- thesoapmaven-- is a good friend of mine and told me about this site. I have lived here for 12 years now. After my husband got out of the Marine's we moved here and live out in the country right next door to my parents. He now works out in the ocean for an oil company. I home school our two children and keep the home fires burning. My husband and I are working on gardens now, I am working on my sewing skills and I love to craft. We love taking family trips, and most of all I love to cook and bake. So thats about it for me, I am excited about this new site and meeting other farmgirls. |

Posted - May 01 2007 : 09:56:05 AM Well, I like to sew crafty type things, although I attempt clothes. I am getting a little better. I LOVE to sew purses and I just made an apron for my mom for Mother's Day. One of my all time favorite things to cook is anything Italian ( I have a bunch of tomato plants planted) and I love to bake breads, cookies, and cakes. My neighbor just picked some dew berries and I made a really good cobbler, that was our breakfast. My Mom is from New Hampshire and my Dad is from Louisiana so I have a lot of things I enjoy cooking. I was a "Navy Brat". I am really wanting to learn more about sewing, I enjoy it. ................... I have never herd of Henderson Swamp. Is that South Louisiana? |
