Posted - Aug 24 2016 : 1:57:22 PM I'm trying to get a chapter started on Southern Vancouver Island. Any suggestions for making a group work, good activities especially for a first meeting would be appreciated.

Posted - Aug 25 2016 : 1:30:42 PM Thanks Carole, that's a good idea. I did ask about putting notices in the magazines in the library, but they said no. But there is a bulletin board outside in the hallway.

Posted - Aug 25 2016 : 12:32:36 PM Jill, if you library carries the magazine, you might want to have a poster with information about your Chapter. Maybe even grocery stores and see where it takes you. If you have a local quilting guild, that might work also.
I'm originally from Montreal, Quebec. I now live close to the Canadian border (Quebec - I can see Canada from my Shoppe) in New York. My family and friend are all in Montreal.

Posted - Aug 25 2016 : 08:43:12 AM Thanks Carole, I used that and am using Meet-up to try and find people even if they are not currently online here. Our library and local bookstores carry the magazine, so there must be readers. Where in Canada are you from?
