I've posted before, but thought it was about time to post again. I'm looking for any other farmgirls who live in central Ohio. I moved to this area a few years ago and would love to meet up with some other farmgirls or even start a new chapter.

I used to live in NE Ohio, and from what I can tell there are plenty of farmgirls up there... but hardly anyone down here!

I live in northern Union county. I am specifically looking for gals who live north of Columbus in Union, Marion, or Delaware county or somewhere nearby (northern Franklin or Madison? Eastern Logan or Hardin? I'm grasping at straws!). I can't be the only one here...

ETA: There are a very few area chapters listed in the chapter search, but they all seem to be completely defunct (no response when I tried to contact, and leaders not active on forums).

I'm so sorry I moved to Michigan and am not in Mansfield any more. When I retire I might move back and I will be interested if you gals have an active chapter, in a couple of years.

Heather & Tammy - Too bad we're not just a little bit closer! Looks like you are both a little over an hour away from me. Sorry to hear the chapter in Lima doesn't seem to be active anymore.

Keep in mind that while we're probably too far away to meet on a regular basis, we could always try to meet halfway if y'all ever want to get together to work on a badge or project. Best of luck to you!

Tammy,
I tried to get in touch with the one in Lima too. I don't think it's around anymore :(

I have just started back with the website and badges after a very long year away. I live in Bluffton which is too far for you but good luck.
I was involved in a hen-house that dissolved this past year - it was to far away to do anything with. The one is Lima never replied to my request. Good luck.

Well, I went ahead and started a new chapter for my area. I don't have any members yet, but I'm hoping it'll be like Field of Dreams... you know, "if you build it, they will come"!

I just applied so it isn't on the searchable list of chapters yet, but I did create a website/blog: http://heartofgoldfarmgirls.blogspot.com

If anyone is interested in joining, please let me know!

I'm close to Lima - probably too far for what you're looking for. I had the same problem you did. There was a Lima chapter listed, but no one would reply. I know of a couple farmgirls from Ohio, but they're way over on the east side of the state.
