Today I went to our local museum (actually it is the Florida State Museum) and viewed the 2006 Annual Quilt Show. Wow. The theme was the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Tallahassee Quilters Society. I was so in awe, as I am each year when it is shown. Each year is different and totally awesome.
Next year, I want to ask MaryJane if I could borrow the Farmgirl Chapter Quilts to enter into the show. They would look so beautiful, and I would love to see them displayed here in my city.

Yes, Berries, I thought about you when I was there, and how neat it would be to explain who quilted the Chapter quilts and that you were once a local gal! I will keep you posted on this idea!

Why thank you girls! I am still working on the second quilt. But hopefully soon. I am so far behind! But boy do I love it. And what would be neat, is that I used to live in Havana just north of Tallahassee, and could get some of my friends to go!!!!! I actually used to attend that show! That would be cool! Thanks jpbluesky! That is a very sweet thought, and Nancy Jo - you are my angel!!!! Thank You.....

Jeanie, what a good idea, would love to see "OUR" Quilt in a show like that, and our Berries sure deserves the recognition for putting all the hard work the girls did together.
