Hey Folks,

I am new to the farmgirl connection and was really excited when I found out about it! My sister is going to be joining and hopefully my mother, and we are interested in becoming members of the farmgirl sisterhood! I am also interested in starting a young cultivator group at our local school. I am straight out of college and landed a job back in my hometown teaching art to middle and highschoolers!! I woud love to find some other women in Maine who are involved and possibly start a chapter up in this area! Maine truly is the place to be and my community could really use some beautifying! I am going to be teaching an environmental art class next year and thought I could find some great ideas on here! I believe sustainability is so important to teach to young adults and I am trying to become a more green and environmentally aware person.

Hope to hear from you soon,
Courtney
