Is your Chapter ready for the next project? How about Chapter aprons from the unofficial "Apron Society"?!?! I will be so excited to see pictures of what you all come up with! Chapter aprons can be anything you want - one apron with bits and pieces from each Chapter member, or individual aprons for each member - it's up to you! I'm so excited to see them! No need to send them to the Farm - these are just for YOU!!! But, please, be sure to post a photo if you can - I can hardly wait to see what all you creative farmgirls have up your sewing sleeves!

XOXO, Libbie

Grace, I got the same book for my birthday last November and read it all through right away! I love it! I would love to see pictures of aprons anyone has made. I'm in the middle of a quilt project that was supposed to be a Christmas present, so it's rather late. . .when I'm done with that, I will make an apron too!

Dear ladies, there is a delightful book (I received one for Christmas) simply called, "The Apron Book" by EllynAnne Geisel. Andrews McMeel Publishing, LLC.
"Making, Wearing and Sharing a Bit of Cloth and Comfort".
There is even a full size Bib Apron pattern enclosed at the back of the book.
I love mine. It motivated me to pull out my sewing machine and sew a kitty motif hostess apron just for fun & giggles.

Just checking in and bursting with curiosity about seeing any Farmgirl Chapter aprons that might be out there - how are they going?

Hi Libbie,
The Far-Flung Farmgirls are in the process of swapping patches for each of us to sew on our own apron, so photos will be coming when the swapping is over! I am still trying to decide what apron to make to sew my patches on, but my first one arrived today - a gorgeous vintage fruit label from Tina, so I better get sewing!
Best wishes,
Jayne

My curiosity is getting the better of me... any aprons that are ready for photo posting yet? I hate to admit that mine is cut out...and sitting right on top of my sewing machine, patiently waiting...

There are some really fun apron patterns in the new MJF magazine - both the free ones and the ones for sale -- if any Chapters are lacking for patterns, check it out!
