Howdy, I recently became an "official" sister. ;-) Any active central Ohio chapters? If so, I am interested in participating. Or, if not, anyone want to start one with me?

I'll be about an hour NW of the city, at the top of Union county. Will definitely let you know when I'm all moved in!

Leah, thanks for the blog message -- I will check out yours as well. Where in the central Ohio area will you be located? Best wishes for a smooth relocation. We can plan to meet up once you arrive. Will be nice to chat with a like minded lady! :)

I'm from NE Ohio but will be moving to central Ohio (about an hour outside Columbus) mid-May. Would love to have some farmgirls to hang out with in the area! Left a message on your blog too.

Just bumping this up to find out if there are any new farmgirls in the Columbus/central Ohio area who want to meet?

Brenda, I agree- in the heart of it all there must be lots of farmgirls! I did register a chapter with MJF but am waiting for my life to settle down a bit before I really try to promote it. Too bad you are no longer here.

I used to live in Mansfield, had a similar experience. I'm not in Ohio any more. I think there must be enough farmgirls in "the heart of it all" to put together a chapter, no? I might move back to Ohio when I am able to retire, and would love to join a group then.

Patty, I had the same experience. Thanks for your well wishes. Too bad you are no longer in Columbus.....we could have at least been a team of two! =D

I recently moved from the Columbus area and so wanted to belong to a chapter out there. I saw a few chapters listed there when I was searching but no one ever responded to my inquiries. I am sure if you "build it, they will come". :) Good luck.

A rind is a terrible thing to waste. Compost.

When they had all had enough to eat, he said to his disciples, “Gather the pieces that are left over. Let nothing be wasted.”

Ok, so no replies so far, but I did send in my request to start a chapter called Buckeye Barngirls. If you are interested in meeting up or working to get a chapter going, reply here or send me a private message.
