A new Facebook Group titled...Farmgirls of Texas...was just started. It's a place where all Texas Farmgirls Chapters can go to chat and read up on planned activities for our state. It by no means is a replacement for this chat room, it's just a central location where we can plan activities for camping trips, junking weekends, Canton Days, Round Top/Warrenton shopping trips, holiday get-together's and more. I really think it's a great tool to bring more Texas Farmgirls together. For safety reasons, since we will be planning trips and such...It is a closed group and I will check membership before adding anyone. Again, the group is called..."Farmgirls of Texas". If there are any neighboring sister's that would like to join us you're more than welcome.

Hi Catherine,
We are about 3 hours from Tyler. I had to drop off a horse there so I know about how long it takes. I hope you can make it! Going to be a blast.

I'll definitely be there. Coming on Friday afternoon/evening and leaving Saturday evening. I was able to get into that quilting class on Sunday.
I also am excited about the "bee guy." don't have room for my own hive, but have always been interested...

Oh, Jennifer!!! I am so stoked about the "bee guy". I've been looking into setting up some hives on the back of the property. This is such perfect timing. Can't wait.

I have fantastic news to share. I have booked up a man who is coming on Sat. for the campout to teach us all about BEES. He is bringing all of his stuff and a hive to teach us from the beginning. Hi Sue,
You only get a number if you buy a membership at MJF's online store. It's really confusing at first! There are a lot of side groups and forums (like this one) that you can participate in without being an "official" member. But to get the number and earn merit badges, you have to buy the membership directly from MJF.
