Today was the first meeting of the newly formed northern chapter of the Oreogn farmgirls - no we have not come up with a name yet - still thinking on that one.
Five of us were able to get together for some brunch and "chit chat". And chit chat we did, we started at 10 am and wrapped up around 3 pm. This was the first time any of us had met face to face and we hit it off just beautifully. Everyone had plenty to say about their familys, farms, animals, etc. Of course I forgot to take pictures - camera sitting right there on the window sit and I blew it - oh well next time.
We are talking about a little farmgirl "cross training" within our group. We have some talented ladies and thought it would be fun to learn to make soap, homemade cottage cheese, do some sewing, painting, etc. Since all of us love to garden, we are going to do some plant/seed swaping too.
Our next gathering won't be till fall, but expect some exciting posts then on what we will be up to next.

I had my camera too and I totally spaced it!
