Posted - Aug 03 2010 : 06:48:44 AMI would love to have a sign up for Farmgirl Sisterhood at our Homeschool association kick off. But that is less than two weeks away and our assn has upwards of 200 or more families so if the response is overwhelming, I don't want to get in over my head. So Sisters, help me think this through.
Tentative calendar of events September - Reusable shopping bag swap October - Button swap and friendship band tutorial November - Crochet class December - Cookie and recipe swap January - Knitting class February - Apron embellishing March - Seed and seedlings swap April - Embroidery class May - Presentation of organic eating benefits Summer - Divide up in small groups for a Get 'r done summer
We would probably have to borrow a church's fellowship hall to have enough space. I would need an email list to keep everyone informed. I need to come up with list of supplies for parents and simple patterns for classes. Maybe I should have a calender with each event that families can check off what they are most interested in.
Am I forgetting something?
UPDATE- I guess I have it covered. Chapter is open.
Farmgirl #1951 Home is a gift that should be opened every day.
