I've started a Henhouse for those of us with Fibromyalgia, CFS/CFIDS or ME and similar disorders! Come join up so we can chat, commiserate and teach each other the best ways to do things when pain, fatigue and other symptoms get in the way.

I've posted a complete reading list of all the books you'll have to read for badges in the Henhouse. I'd like to hear what you're reading or what other books you'd like to read this summer (fall, winter, and onward!).

Fibro doesn't stop me but it does make me do things a little differently sometimes. I'd like to hear how you manage, too.

Hello! I'm a trainwreck for lack of a better description! lol! Seriously though, I have had Systemic Lupus for over 25 years and was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia a couple of years ago. Would love to join your henhouse if possible? =)

Laura, I e-mailed you. ScotDeerie is the official hen of this henhouse. You can click directly on her name and it will bring up her profile and then you can click to send an e-mail. You have to e-mail to the link I included above and write which henhouse you want to join. You will get a confirmation e-mail that tells you when you are in.

Merry, it took over a week for my approval e-mail to come.

I have Fibromyalgia and degenerative arthritis which has broken all the joints in my feet. I have it in my back too and that is the most painful. I'd like to join too. Bonnie

I have Fibromyalgia, RA, and Degenerative Arthritis. What I find is how difficult explaining the pain and limitations to those who have no idea what we deal with every day. I would love to be a part of this henhouse. Do I need to contact Brian?

I was diagnosed with Fibro and CFS after I had my thyroid removed and my TSH levels were out of control. The hardest part has been keeping up with a 2 year old. I love knitting, but after a while it hurts, so I have taken to using looms. It doesn't seem to tire me out as fast or hurt as much. I can actually get some projects done!

I also have Fibro and Rheumatoid Arthritis. I wanna join too!! How do we do this? I am in New Kent, Virginia. Should I be looking for a local group to meet physically? I am heartened by the fact that there are other sufferers who still wanna be farmgirls and NOT give in to pain and fatigue.

Oh, absolutely! I had to give the Henhouse a name but the idea is that those of us with physical limitations might need a place to chat about alternative ways to do things or just be able to vent about limitations when they arise. But, most of all, it will be about our triumphs when the occur.

Come on over! I'll put the virtual tea kettle on for you.
