Hello All,
Shoal Creek Living History Museum will give a class on Lye Soap Making.
If anyone is interested please email ASAP so we can set up a date when we have enough to fill the class.
You will need to bring 13 cups of lard from a butcher, one can of Lye , not Drain-o product.
Gloves, Apron, Wooden spoons, large stainless steel bowl, at least five cup size, and a plastic shoe box for soap storage.
Also, plastic dishpan is helpful, but the site may have some.
Please RSVP Soon so the class can be scheduled ASAP.

October 23, 2010 is the date for the lye soap making class.
Shoal Creek Living History Museum.
There will be several Lost Arts classes available including blacksmithing.
List of class supplies and fees to follow.
