What a gorgeous day we are having today! I just wanted to check in to say that I have taken over the Spokane area chapter. I would LOVE to invite you all over to the farm for another get-together and plan some of the projects we may want to do over the course of the next few seasons. I also wanted to discuss making name tags for those of you planning to attend Farm Fair. I just sent my application to be a vendor for jury review and sure hope I'm accepted.. keeping my fingers crossed. Please let me know what your schedules are like and we'll figure something out. Children and dogs are more than welcome to come! look forward to connecting with you all! warmly, Julia Hayes

Hi, Julia!

I just wanted to do a quick reply to let you know there is still someone out there and in the Spokane Valley.

I'm in a bit of a busy mode right now. My long-time friend/pen pal (thirty plus years) is here from Australia visiting. I'm still working my three days a week while she's here and have been shuffling her back and forth to my mom's on the north side while I'm working (except for Wed., when she'll go on the bookmobile with me). On Friday we, along with my daughter, are leaving for a week in the south (Little Rock, Memphis, Houston, and places inbetween). Maybe things will calm down a bit later in May?

Keep me in mind as one of the local farm girls. I hope you hear from some others.

Karin
