Calling all farmgirls looking for a chapter on the western side of the Cascades. Please consider joining me in the Bees in Our Bonnets in the 'Burbs chapter. I've set up a blog http://beesinourbonnetsintheburbs.blogspot.com/ and I'll be setting up the henhouse next. I'd really love to get the group rolling with the new year, so please consider joining in! We can talk about traveling meetings, so if you aren't based near Puyallup, no worries.

For those who have joined (or are thinking about it), I'll be sending out welcome packets this weekend. If you haven't sent me your mailing address, just leave a comment here. (Not with your address but that I need to contact you!) Otherwise, I'll send out the packet (and a little goody) shortly. I'll also send out the driving directions and an invitation for the Tea and Know-How Pow Wow that is scheduled for January 16th.

Thanks!!!

Yea!!!!! Kimberly, & yep if I ever get over to your side of the State I will for sure give you a look-up!

MJF Chapters, whether a large group of gaggling gals or a small intimate gathering of a few dear friends is so good for the Farmgirl Soul!

Yep, I think it will be great fun, Annika. I'm hoping that farmgirls on this side of the Cascades will consider coming to perk up their January!

Way to go Farm girl! I'm originally from the Seattle area, but now the drive would be a bit much
Isn't it exciting to form a new group? I'm so happy for you and all of the sisters who will join in. Have lots of fun !

Thanks, Grace! If you are ever over in my neck of the woods, stop on by.

For those a little closer to Puyallup, I'm having a tea and Know-How Pow Wow on January 16th at my house. Check out the chapter blog for information: http://www.beesinourbonnetsintheburbs.blogspot.com/

Hey Kim,
Kudos to you for getting the ball rolling for a MJF chapter in your neck of the woods.
We have 2-3 (I think) chapters over in our neck of the woods(Inland NorthWest).
Sometimes we just have a simple coffee get together, sometimes a day of thrifting. Last month we had a Bingo Babes Nite party. Not all the gals were MJF chapter members but they had fun joining in the Bingo Mayhem none the less.
Just think, next year @ the Sewing Expo in Puyallup, you can organize a get together.....
